My work is heavily informed by my ethnic background and coastal spirituality. 
I have worked in, and am informed by, the lands of Lutruwita (Tasmania), Moloka’i, Hawai’i, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Indonesia, (so-called) Australia, and across the (so called) United States. In fact, a majority of my work is always aware and speaking to the oceanic and the submerged volcanic. However, what I choose to create is not about identity, but it is instead about a) the waves of culture, b) the cooperative labor of diverse peoples, and c) the explosive urbanisms that swallow them whole.
